NTOICED FEL PUMPS HAS BEEN 180 DEGREES BACKWARDS. REINSTALLED PUMP BACKWARDS BECAUSE THAT IS THE ONLY WAY THE FUEL LINES WILL CONNECT . SLIGHTLY ADJUSTS FUEL PUMP IN TANK TO TRY AND KEEP THE FLOATING AWY FROM THE HIGHER PSOTS IN HWICH THE FUEL TANK WAS DESIGNED. IF PROLBEM PERSISTS, WILL REQUIRE TO INSTALLED CORRECT VW FUEL PUMP . UPON INTSALL OF INTAKE MANIFOLD . VEHICLE STILL DED WHILE MAKING REDRIVE AFTER WARRANTY REPAIR. 84499 SEE STORY ON LINE B--AH. .
CUSTOMER STATES THAT CAR KEPS CUTTING OFF ON HIM WHIEL DRIVING 132217 CHECK ENGINE 150 ROAD TEST-INGINE CUTTING OFF AT STOP. I CHECKED DTC-NO CODES PRESENT. ERFORMED TECH CHECK. CHECEKD AND CLEANED THROTLE BODY . MAE THROLTE BODY DAPTION. CHECKED AND CLEANED AIR FILTER. ADDED FUEL ADDATIVE . ROAD TEST 13 MILE.S ENGINE RUNS OK, NO CUTING OFF ENIGNE AT THIS TIME. .
C/S CAR DIED WHILE DRIVING 271753 timig belt broken removed cylinder head and inspected pistons for daage. no ohles FIND in pistons but do have a definite stamp mark from the valves. ould possily get away with replacing the cylinder head but could have hit hard enough to bend the conencting rods GET little. would have to remove the pistons to confirm. CUSTOMER DECLINED REPLACING ENINE WITH REMANED EGINE .
CUSTOMER STATES VEHICLE WILL BE TOWD IN 179752 GENERATOR FUSE BLOWN Vehicle was dead on arrival. Installed jump box to start vehicle. Jumped vehicle , after vehicle startd removed jmp box from battery. After jump box was removed the vehicle died . Ohm'd generator fuse in fuse plate. Geneator fuse did not ohm out correctly. Recommended replacing generator use. Replaced Generator fuse . Rmeoved battery CAME FROM vehcile and rechrged battery . REINSTALL battery in vehicle. Vehicle starts normal PRIOR TO repair. Performed battery, staritng, and hcarging system test. Test was ok no problems found. .
